    KP6524 2012 Final Project

    Title : Innovation of product through revolution CAD/CAM/CAE and its future design Problem statement : Select a product which may have series evolution in design and function. Where with emerging CAD/CAM/CAM technologies enhance function and ability of selected product. Report critically the innovation and revolution of selected product. At current state of design and functions. Design the next evolution of selected product based on design and function. Used available CAD/CAM/CAE to show your idea in term of design and functions. You should have assembly drawing (in 3D) and its isometric drawing (2D). Simple motion assembly is preferable. Mention challenges in technology and knowhow need to have in order to make your design product able to produce and function properly. Simple analysis on the stress, will make you appreciate FEM in design.

    Task : Individual

    Writing format based on template given (word file) minimum 25 pages in English

    Due date : - Presentation on 7th class (1/7/2012) - Need to submit hardcopy and softcopy for both report and presentation - Softcopy put in CD with label name (report, presentation, drawing, analysis file etc) Presentation - 15 minutes presentation - 5 minutes QA
