Sub: Requirement of portable Wooden Cabins, one each for Field Quality Assurance
Laboratory and Security at Mundra TPP – Specifications:

In continuation to above and subsequent to discussions held with you, please find the
details of our requirements for further actions from your end.

The under mentioned specifications shall be same for both the cabins.

1. Cabin 36 feet x 12 feet.

The verandah of size 12 feet x 6 feet shall be placed in centre at its
front with roof over and above the dimension of 36 feet x 12 feet
of the cabin.

2. Doors 2 numbers of size 3.5 feet x 7 feet with MS frame and wooden
paneled

3. Windows Aluminum fabricated having size: 3’x 3’ – 6 Nos.

4. Base: Wooden platform: Grid work of wooden members having size 4

inch x 2 inch with 16 mm thick waterproof marine ply for flooring.

5. Side Walls Pinewood framework for walls: 2.5 inch x 1.25 inch
9mm thick waterproof marine ply for outer wall cladding.

6. Roof Pinewood frame work with aluminum sheet mounted on

top(outer)side. Internally paneled with 6mm thick marine plywood.

7. Painting Inside and outside painting of cabin with two coats of enamel paint
[approved shade and make] over one coat of primer including
preparing and finishing, with Primer & Putty, surfaces to receive the
paint

It is requested to process at an early date so that full fledged laboratory can be set up for
Field Quality Assurance and security section can be comfortably accommodated
