Teaching Experience
Internship September 6, 2012 - December 20, 2012 Jonas Samson Junior High Meadow Lake, SK Collaborated with my colleagues to better understand the needs of our students. Worked to make sure that my students were successful within the classroom. Presented material in various ways to increase the students chance of success. Worked on making the material relatable and relevant to the students. Developed professional competence while working with a variety of subjects. Took part in parent teacher interviews and discussed student development. Pre- Internship Field Study September 4 2011 - April 6, 2012 Holy Cross High School Saskatoon, SK Observed and applied classroom management skills that I learnt from cooperating teacher and from University. Developed my role as a teacher within the classroom. Strived to make every student feel accepted within my classroom.
Career Development
Attended a seminar on Response to Intervention by Mike Mattos Attended a Cultural Camp at Waterhen Lake hosted by MLTC and the NorthWest School Division Attended a Millenium Leadership Conference in Vancouver Subscribe to Educational blogs that give me access to the newest developments in Education. Personal Interests
I enjoy being physically active and work to keep myself in shape. Coaching and playing various sports such as volleyball, basketball, hockey, golf, track and field, and badminton. I also have developed a passion for working with under-privileged youth during my high school and university tenure.
