Date of Incident Description of Incident Disclosed for privacy reasons March 26th, 2013 A 17 year old male student in my second period Modern US History class arrived late to class with a bruise and bump on his left brow. Upon asking him what happened he told me he had gotten in a fight at home. March 26th, 2013 Shirley Watson The Hotline operator instructed me that since I had not explicitly heard the student name one of his parents/guardians as perpetrator and since he was one month away from turning 18 that there would be no investigation, but a file of the call would be recorded for future viewing. I spoke with the students social worker before I made the call and returned to him immediately after. The social worker and I met later that day (after he spoke with the student) to discuss the situation (a non-parent family member had hit the student).
