Fumigation Result The following results were obtain from the post fumigation swab taken from female orthopeadic ward S/No Items Result 1. Window/door Yielded profuse growth of spore forming bacilli and staphylococcus aureus 2. Floor profuse growth of spore forming bacilli and staphylococcus aureus 3. Fan profuse growth of spore forming bacilli and staphylococcus aureus 4. Bed profuse growth of spore forming bacilli and staphylococcus aureus 5. Instrument profuse growth of spore forming bacilli and staphylococcus aureus 6. Sink profuse growth of spore forming bacilli and staphylococcus aureus Conclusion The Orthopeadic ward not achieve sterility. Recommendation Please repeat mopping and fumigation with 40% formaldehyde then send for repeat test. Note: It was observed that the ward was found to be very dirty and dusty hence the need for profer cleaning before fumigation.

Floor No Bacterial Growth 3. Bedding No Bacterial Growth 4. Door No Bacterial Growth 5. Instrument No Bacterial Growth Conclusion Sterility was achieved, the room is safe for use.
