OF HARDSTAND AND EXCAVATION FOR FOUDATIONS FOR COLUMNS AND DRAINAGES BACKGROUND The Project MAMBILLA Contractor (Vita Construction Limited) needs to start the project, by demolition of walls, breaking of hardstand and excavation for foundations for columns and drainages WORK SUPERVISION AND DURATION: 1 the work is proposed to start on 8th November, 2012 2 Supervision will be done by Mambilla Project civil project manager Mohammed

WORK DESCRIPTION P&G evacuation the designated area Barricade of the approved area with flexible barrier caution tape and latter by rigid barrier wood and zinc Setting out to locate the foundation Demolition of the breaking of hardstand with excavator/ backhoe/compressor jack hammer (wall wail be demolish from the top to the bottom and cart away Clean up the rebuses to lay down area with dumper and latter removed with truck Excavation for the foundation ( 1.2 1.5)m deep with back hoe and dressing manually with digger and shovel Blind the excavated area with concrete Cutting, bending and fixing of reinforcement Construction of form work Concrete pour WORK SUPERVISION AND DURATION The contractor (Vita Construction Limited) is familiar with the scope of the work Any change will be communicated within 24hours ahead of implementation. Supervision will be done by the site Construction civil Engineer when the job is going on. There will be a dedicated P & G Safety Officer on site. There will be restrictive access for passage while performing the tasks except those that are working on the project. ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATION 1. There will be a housekeeping programme to clear the site before and after work is completed

2. The following basic PPEs must be used by the contractor while doing the job; safety shoes, helmet, hand gloves safety goggles etc 3. The area of work will be properly barricaded with caution tape 4. P & G approved disciplinary action/ matrix will be implemented on any personnel/contractor found violating safety rules 5.
