    GENERATION There are three main characteristics of electric supply that have a critical effect on the manner on which

    they are generated. 1. Electricity unlike gas or water cannot be stored and the supplier has little or no control over the load. Control engineers try to keep the output from the generator equal to the connected load at a specified voltage and frequency.
