If you want to specifically express the numbers/counts of the subject, the
word “mga” is no longer used. For example, if you would like to express
that you have “Five combs;” here’s how you would do it.

Short-form Tagalog: Mayroong limang suklay.
Long-form Tagalog: Mayroong lima na suklay}

* The “ng” rule applies to numbers also. If it ends in a consonant, use “na.”
You can probably guess why! 
