Over the period of 2 years, we have 500 children trained as filmmakers and almost more than 50,000 children who have participated in the Cine Art process till date. This year CineArt has been nominated by National Institute of Design (NID) to enable Delhis school children to make films on issues like freedom, inclusion, bullying in school, health etc. PVR Nest and DFC inaugurated the 3rd edition of the CineArt 2011 with the orientation and registration session. Ms. Nandini Sood, from Career Launcher addressed the event as the program partner representing DFC. More than 250 children from 27 public and NGO schools like Maxfort, Shriram, Army Public school, Bal Sahyog, Little Ones Public School, Make a Difference Foundation, SETU, Akshay Pratishthan etc. participated with great enthusiasm.

The children were introduced to the CineArt & DFC program and procedures to be followed for registration. A kit enclosed with forms and FAQ was disseminated to each school and NGO. Children thoroughly enjoyed the screening of PVR Nests CineArt and DFC films. Ms. Nandini Sood shared 4 things- feel, imagine, do and share-that will help each child to come up with brilliant idea for change in their life and surroundings which will be documented through CineArt Film Leadership Project 2011 with eminent filmmakers like Rita Banerjee, Wency Mendes etc in September2011.
