Founded in 2012, The3PointFoundation teaches and mentors boys in Bostons most underserved neighborhoods. We provide outstanding academic instruction to boys who play in organized basketball programs, and we use basketball to teach about character, discipline and team work. In 2013, we will double our size by adding another class, with the goal of growing to 100 participants over time. We will also launch a collaboration with Chyten Educational Services to provide a math program for 100 fourth and fifth graders in the No Books No Ball community basketball program. -------To continue our growth, The3PointFoundation needs your help. Reaching our goals requires more teachers, curriculum development, books, technology, school supplies, rental space and transportation. The3PointFoundation was founded with encouragement from members of the Boston Celtics ownership to provide transformational educational opportunities to underserved urban boys playing in organized basketball programs. We provide academic, character development and basketball programs that change our boys' lives.
