1. Explain the theme you have chosen from the brief and why you have chose it: I have chosen metamorphosis for my theme. Im going to be using to be using aging in my planning I have been showing birth to death from a sperm cell to a coffin to show the changing of a person in through life, I chose this because its interesting and it relates to my brief very well. 2. Explain your ideas in detail. What have YOU individually decided to look at? : I have chosen to look at aging which is a metamorphosis from a sperm cell to a coffin. I want to show people how the body changes through aging throughout the years in an artistic way. One of my favourite ideas is to draw half of a face of a young lady and the other side the young ladys face when shes an elder woman. 3. Discuss the artists you have looked at. How have they influenced you and your work? : Gustav Klimt has inspired me because his art work shows signs of aging, an old woman grown up from a little toddler. Gustav Klimt has influenced me with my work because his work has shown me ideas for my final piece. Also Da Vinci has helped me with his self portraits showing me different ways I can draw faces showing special facial features to make older adults look their age whilst using paint. 4. Discuss the media and techniques you have investigated. Why did you use these? : I have used paint, pencil, pen, chalk and charcoal. I have used these to try out what I could use in my final piece and what itll like, I want my final piece to look bright and eye catching and with some o0f these medias itll make my work successful. My final piece is going to be on an A2 wooden/canvassed board and I will be using paint. 5. discuss what media and techniques you could look at over the next few weeks. Explain why you would use these: I

could use spray paint to see what effect that can bring to my work it might make it stand out more. 6. Explain what sort of outcome you imagine making for this project in as much detail as you can: My final piece is going to be bright, loud and show everything I can to show how the body changes over the years. Id like to aim for a merit grade to help me get into beauty next year in college.
