Part 7 Reflections

Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel you have learnt in the progression from it to the full product?

Looking back at my preliminary task I have learned so much; from working as a team to using many different type of technologies. I am not a big fan of technologies; so using the blogger, final cut, presentation Such as Prezzi and Scribd, web 2.0, live type I soon overcame a kind of fear of using it but now that I have learned how to use these programmes; I will carry on to do so in future. Secondly working in the team had its advantages and disadvantages some advantages were that if something didnt turn out right we all would work as a group to correct it. And we all made sure that we all would stay calm and just get on with work. Some of the disadvantages however was that to get tasks done like filming we all have to get together and meet up but that didnt seem to happen really well so for me the hardest part of working in the group is relaying on friends. When we first did out preliminary task I didnt even know how to work a camera, but now my knowledge about cameras has extended before when we did our preliminary task our shots consisted of zooms only but now looking back how many different shots we learned and filmed. One of the main things I learned from this is that PLANNING is the key! Without it is impossible to manage time and other features. During this project our planning wasnt the best because it showed when we had to change actors in last Moment. And if we had planed everything to the last finishing touches like how would our final product look like then maybe it all we wouldnt be stuck going over everything with a new plot and a new genre.
