REDESIGN PLAN
Product Name: Quaker Oats Oatmeal Target Group: Women ages 18-30. People who are health conscious and looking for a healthy breakfast or snack. History: Quaker Oats was founded in 1901 by Henry Parsons Crowell who bought Quaker Oat Mill Company. The company is known for oatmeal, other breakfast cereals, and other food and drink products. They also got into toys. Quaker Oats acquired Fisher Price. In 2001 Pepsico bought Quaker. The products are produced in Ontario, Canada. When Pepsico bought Quaker Oats the brands were consolidated. These include: Quaker Chewy bars, Capn Crunch cereal, Aunt Jemima pancake mix, Gatorade, Tropicana Juices, and Frito-lay snacks. Redesign Plan: There is nothing exciting or interesting about oatmeal packaging. All brands look similar. I want to bring a new modern feel to Quaker Oats packaging. It is going to be in a clear tin so you can see the oats. The logo and other information is going to minimalized. With this new sleek design it is going to look great on the shelves and people will want it in their pantry.

Logos The Quaker Oats logo has evolved over the years. Its current logo is picutred on the left. Quaker has been around for a while and this new minimalized logo has somewhat of a vintage feel and still has the Quaker icon.
