GAR3902 GAR3902 Series GAR-TC

The GAR-TC features a predrilled pad allowing a 2-hole compression terminal to be connected to water pipe as well as columns and other cylindrical shapes. The terminal may be paralleled, 45 or 90 to the pipe.

KC
The KC SERVIT POST is used to ground one or two cables to steel structure, fence post, and transformers. They can also be used to tap 1 or 2 cables from a drilled and tapped bus bar.

GAR
The GAR is a Fence Post Grounding Connector. It is a range-taking ground connector for joining cable to rod or tube in parallel or right angle configurations.

The GAR3902 Series is designed to connect one conductor to a rod, pipe, tube or rebar in a perpendicular or parallel configuration. This series is supplied with plated steel hardware. The difference between this series and our standard GAR connector is the rotating element in the 3902 series that allows for perpendicular configurations. The GAR3902 series with a BU suffix are supplied with DURIUM silicon bronze hardware, making them acceptable for direct burial in earth or concrete.

Sample BURNDY Mechanical Grounding Connector Applications

Fence Post, Piping & Tubing

continued

The Mechanical Grounding line is a family of direct burial, UL Listed connectors. Made of high copper content alloys, they use a nut and bolt design to provide the means for connecting copper cable to many applications. Only the finest high copper alloys are used to ensure performance under the most extreme environmental conditions. Where the direct burial symbol appears, that connector is capable of direct burial applications in earth or embedment in concrete. Over 75 years of technological innovations make FCI-BURNDY Mechanical Grounding Connectors one of the most widely used, specified and highly respected lines in the industry. There are virtually no grounding or bonding application problems that our products cannot solve. All FCI-BURNDY Mechanical Grounding Connectors are designed for easy installation and outstanding durability.

The Direct Burial Symbol indicates that the connector is suitable for burial in Earth or concrete. The Underwriters Laboratories symbol indicates that the connector meets the noted UL standard. The CSA symbol indicates that the connector meets the applicable standards of the Canadian Standards Association.

GG
The GG is for joining braid, bar, strap, or cable to a rod or tube.
