Comments on Thesis Titled Effect of Physical Beam Parameters on Tray Transmission Factor

I have read the thesis and noted the following corrections to be implemented in it. These corrections/suggestions are according to the standard thesis format followed by international and national universities. 1. There is no abstract present in the thesis. Abstract should be inserted at the start of the thesis. 2. Table of Contents is not correct. The numbering and sub numbering of the topics requires correction. 3. The grammatical errors are enormous. The student should recheck the thesis from an English department teacher/student. 4. The equations are not written in the standard form. Also, they are not center aligned and look awkward. 5. Subscripts/superscripts are not written correctly. 6. Equation 1.4 is not properly explained. The short explanation adds to the confusion. 7. Several headings are inserted at the bottom of the page with no body text below them. For example on page 6, the heading pair production is inserted at the bottom and this should be taken to page 7. 8. On page 9, the IAEA recommended limits for radiation leakage is not discussed explicitly. To make the thesis more self-sufficient, these limits should be discussed in detail. 9. Several pages contain huge empty spaces left unfilled. For example page 10, 16, 18, 21, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 31 should be rearranged. 10. Neither the pictures/figures nor the captions are center aligned. They should be center aligned. 11. The parameters on page 14 should be written in a center aligned table instead of scattered form.

12. The headings on page 15 are written with colons. Colons should be removed. Also the equations on page 15 are written in very large font size. All the equations and body text should be written in font size of 12 points. 13. The figure on page 15 (figure 1.4) is unnecessarily small. It is impossible to read. All the figures should be of appropriate size so that can be read easily. 14. The font style should be TIMES NEW ROMAN for all the text in the thesis. This thesis contains several text formats and need to be corrected. 15. The numbering of the figures is not correct. For example fig. 5 should be fig. 2.1 and fig. 6 should be fig. 2.2 and so on. 16. The references are not written in standard form. Also they are not written in the same format.
