PreReading

T will wear a picture of a bear and she will tell her Ss that today they are going to meet a new friend which is the bear, and then asks them what do they want to call him.

Ss will be able to tell what do they can see

T will show the Ss the cover page of the story and ask them to tell her what do they see.

T will whisper to the bear to get the Ss attention and then ask them to sit on the floor appropriately to listen to the story. T will read the story aloud and while reading she will ask Ss questions e.g. (predicting, pointing to the pictures and describing pictures). T will act out the main event of the story by utilizing effective techniques which help Ss to be fully engaged.

WhileReading

PostReading

T will put the events of the story (pictures) on the mats and ask Ss to re-order the events of the story. T will ask Ss to make a big circle and they have to through a soft ball to each other and the one who catch the ball should say what did they learn from the story.

Ss will be able to re-order the events of the story correctly and say what did they learn from the story.
