France

Location

The territory of France is located in what is known as Western Europe, limits with to Andorra, Spain and the Cantabria sea; the Mediterranean sea, Monaco and the Atlantic Ocean, Belgium, the Channel, the sea of the North and with Germany, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

It's known like The Tricolor where the blue is the freedom, the white is the equality and the red is the brotherhood.

Geography:

France is the country with Europe's largest surface. It's spreads from the North Sea up to the Mediterranean. The west and the south they are mountainous, emphasizing in the Alps the Mont Blanc, the highest point of Western Europe.

Economy:

France possesses an industrial advanced economy and an agrarian efficient sector. The principal activities are the industries car, aerospace, chemistry, pharmacist and electronics, information technology and fashion.

Wildlife:

The fauna of France possesses few representative species of the big mammals; the most common are the deer and the foxes. France possesses an abundant variety of birds. The reptiles are scanty. And the cod, the herring, between others, populate the marine waters. The principal forest trees are the chestnut-tree, the haya, the oak, the blockhead, the walnut, the fir and the pine.

Life Style:

Usually, people are educated and respectful. They rarely answer in another language unless they are very familiar with it. Their work schedule is from 9 A.M to 5 P.M and they work 35 hours each weekThe family life still remains an important social center, even though every day there is more families without children.

The French attractions are countless and every person who does tourism in France will have his preferences and his personal desires but there are some sites that it is impossible not to see, like for example: - Eiffel Tower -Arch of Triumph -Louvre Museum -Notre-Dame Cathedral - Palace of Versailles

Celebrities:

Some of the prominent most distinguished figures from France are: Napoleon Bonaparte who was an important person in the French revolution. Ren Descartes who is considered to be a father of the modern philosophy. Jean Paul Sarte writer and philosopher. Montgolfier Brothers who invented the hot air balloon. Victor Hugo a writer who is very an acquaintance in the world of the French language for his romantic novels. In addition there are painters like Monet, Manet and Degas, between others.
