Identification and Analysis of Entrepreneurial Strategies in Resources Area in Selected Food Industries

Abstract
This research uses resource-based view as a lens for identifying and analyzing entrepreneurial strategies. Resource-based view focuses on gaining competitive advantage through specific resources. Peteraf competitive advantage model is the basis for current research, in this model, four conditions are considered for creating competitive advantage. For conducting this research, qualitative methods were used and qualitative research questionnaire was formed based on Peteraf model. Finally a total of 26 strategies have been identified and analyzed through interviews with entrepreneurs in selected food industries. These strategies are classified into four categories: entrepreneurial rent creating strategies through gaining and creating resources, innovation creating strategies, preserving entrepreneurial rent strategies (preventing imitation) and Strategies for obtaining and preserving resources at the lowest possible price Proposing a new definition for entrepreneurial strategies, identifying weakening factors of entrepreneurial strategies, analyzing difference between entrepreneurial and nonentrepreneurial strategies are other results of this study.
