There are three texts featured in this pack. Each text provides a challenging read for Year 9 students both in terms of difficulty and the subjects covered. All of the books below are available in the school library, in most bookshops or as e-books (Kindle etc.).

INFORMATION FOR PARENTS
This pack is designed to support a range of skills based on the Key Stage 3 National Curriculum for English. It contains material based on fiction texts suitable for Year 9 readers at levels 5-7; nonfiction texts to support understanding of issues raised in the books; and online resources hosted at our Moodle site.The tasks have been divided into six sections to ensure that your child always has work to complete at home.
