Linear Algebra

Introduction to Systems of Linear Equations 1. A homogenous linear equation is an equation whose root is 0. 2. An augmented matrix is a rectangular array of numbers used to represent linear equations. 3. Properties of row echelon form:a. First non zero number in the row is 1. b. Rows consisting entirely of zeroes are grouped at the bottom c. The leading 1 is farther to the right in a lower row than a higher row. 4. Reduced row echelon form is a row echelon form such that each column with a leading 1 has zeroes everywhere else in the column.
