As
we
know,
the
thymus
gland
plays
a
very
important
part
in
the
development
of
the
immune
system.
When
individuals
obtain
this
disease
their
thymus
gland
is
frequently
abnormal
in
size.
This
is
not
the
only
thing
that
this
disease
can
affect
with
the
thymus
gland.
Some
people
can
develop
tumors
on
the
thymus
gland
that
are
usually
benign
(non‐
cancerous)
but
they
can
also
become
malignant
(cancerous).
But
what
is
the
connection
between
the
thymus
gland
and
this
disease?
The
answer
to
this
question
has
yet
to
be
answered
because
nobody
fully
understands
