The brother-sister duo wanted to create an organization that helps children learn how to become fit and stay that way for life. At the same time, the children hoped to help the under-served in the community and throughout the US by providing humanitarian aid in the form of medical funding, sports equipment funding, and by providing swimming lessons to those children who could not otherwise afford them.

After participating in two youth triathlons that summer, Rob and Emma realized something: triathlons are fun.
Our youth rooms, youth camps, youth services, youth directors and youth outreaches all show that we have been more than willing to prop up this madeup cultural category called adolescence. The church is not only guilty for helping legitimate this cultural category but also for helping create it in the first place. You could say that the church is to blame.
What might happen if we (the church) included them (youth) as adults, expected them to act and participate as adults? If our local congregations began (even if it was only on Wednesday nights and Sunday mornings) treating young people as adults, it might have huge ramifications on the rest of society.
Pain.
Love God. Love neighbor. Let God take care of the rest.
This is the heart of Christs message and good news for the church today. Come to the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)s Big Tent event and discover for yourself how putting Gods first things first can bring rebirth and renewal to your church.
