CONDITIONS OF ENTRY (RULES) 2013

The Individual & Team Shoot is a Series event and is conducted over all 5 Shoots comprising 4 Team Shoot Rounds at various SE Zone Clubs & the final Carnival, where the Series is decided. Selection for all other SE Zone DTL Teams will also be undertaken at the Carnival,

CLUB CARNIVAL TEAM


a. b. c. d. e. f. g. h. i. j. k. l. Each Club may enter one or more 5 person Teams. Team members must be ACTA registered through their SE Zone Team Club except as per rule c. After ALL eligible Club members present at the shoot are selected as Team members, Clubs may select a maximum of two other ACTA members registered through another SE Zone Club to make a Team. Team members must be informed that they have been selected for a Team and can only be entered into a Team with the shooters consent. Shooters must be available to shoot when their squad is called and must also be nominated in a Team at that time to be eligible as a Team member. Each Team must select a Team Captain who is fully responsible for his Team and its nomination. Teams & Team Members MUST be nominated with the office BEFORE shooting. Scores recorded before a Team member is nominated with the office WILL NOT be taken into account for the team score. The Zone Executive present at the Shoot MUST approve any proposed Team changes or substitutions. The Zone Secretary or his nominee will tally and record Team scores. A nomination fee of $10.00 is payable for each Team entry. Junior Carnival Team members may also be selected for a Club Carnival Team under the above rules.

JUNIOR CARNIVAL TEAM


a. b. Each Club may enter one or more 2 person Teams, eligibility as per the rules above, except that no substitution of members from other Clubs is allowed. A Junior MUST be under the age of 18 years on the date of the Zone Carnival. No nomination fee is payable.

5 PERSON STATE TEAM


This Team will be selected at the SE Zone Carnival, the selection criteria & eligibility will be: a. Only ACTA Shooters registered through a SE Zone Club are eligible. b. Shooters scores over the 15m Double Barrel, Single Barrel & Points Score events at the Carnival and the best of their 15m Double Barrel scores from any 3 of the 4 Team Shoots will be added for a total score. c. The Shooters with the highest total scores as above will be considered for the Zone 5 Person Team. d. In the event of a tie for Team places a shoot off will decide the 5 places. The shoot off will be shot squad system comprising 5 targets each of Double Barrel, Single Barrel & Points Score shot from 15m, repeated if required. e. The eligible Shooters will be invited to represent the SE Zone at the State Championships and to wear the SE Zone shooting jacket subject to Terms and Conditions presented with the invitation. f. 3 Reserve Team members will be selected from the next best scores as per the above rules and shot off, if necessary, as per rule d.

3 PERSON LADIES, VETERAN & JUNIOR STATE TEAMS


These Teams will be selected at the SE Zone Carnival as per rules a d for the 5 Person State Team. a. The eligible Shooters will be invited to represent the SE Zone at the State Championships. SE Zone shooting jackets will not be provided. b. 2 Reserve Team members will be selected from the next best scores as per the above rules and shot off, if necessary, as per rule d for the 5 Person State Team. c. A Junior MUST be under the age of 18 years on the date of the following years State Carnival. d. A Veteran MUST be eligible to apply for the age pension on the date of Registration and the Zone Carnival. e. Lady, Veteran and Junior shooters cannot compete at the State Titles in more than one Team. If a Lady, Veteran or Junior shooter is eligible for more than one Team they MUST decide on the day of the Carnival in which team they wish to compete.

DISPUTES
Any dispute or challenge to a Team, Team score or Team member or the conduct of the shoot MUST be lodged with the Zone Executive present at the Shoot immediately it occurs and no later than before the Shoot ends. Decisions made on the day by the Zone Executive present will be final. The Zone Executive members are: President, Vice President, Secretary & Treasurer.
