Coursework Area Solo and Ensemble Performance

Solo Performance Produce a solo performance on any instrument. You must supply the printed sheet music for assessment purposes. The assessed instrument part MUST be presented on the supplied sheet music for assessment purposes. The examination board will not accept the coursework without printed sheet music. The sheet music is used to assess the performance. No sheet music, no performance, no assessment, no coursework. Each instrument part must not be copied.

Ensemble Performance Produce an ensemble performance on any instrument. You must supply the printed sheet music for assessment purposes. The assessed instrument part MUST be present on the supplied sheet music for assessment purposes. The examination board will not accept the coursework without printed sheet music or score. The sheet music is used to assess the performance and how it fits into the ensemble. No sheet music, no performance, no assessment, no coursework. The minimum requirements for an ensemble performance, is three performers. Each instrumental part must not be copied. Please Note It is the student responsible to present the completed performances with the printed sheet and organise musicians to perform on each area of coursework. It is the student responsible to select a performance piece(s) that is at the students skill level of performing with guidance from teacher.
