OATH OF A SHUSEIKAN BLACK BELT

I SOLEMNLY SWEAR THAT: I will always practice the seven guiding virtues of Shuseikan; I will take pride in my Shuseikan black belt and I will wear it at all times during practice in any Aikido dojo around the world; I will consider my belt as my honor and I will defend it against any action aimed to dishonor my art, my organization and myself; I will honor the seniority status of all Shuseikan black belts that came before me; and I will respect those that comes after me; I will support my fellow-black belt who needs help in the best way I can; I will treat each and every member of Shuseikan in the true spirit of brotherhood, harmony and unity; I will not use the knowledge I learned for evil purposes but ONLY to defend myself, my family, my organization and my art; I will not do anything that will malign the name & reputation of my organization and its officers. I will not teach the art of Shuseikan or Shuseikai Aikido without proper authorization from Shuseikan Aikido Founder.
