What are arguments in favour of or against,making grammar presentations more teacher centered than learner centered?

Teacher-centered
Deductive classroom, the teacher conducts lessons by introducing and explaining concepts/grammatical items to students, and then expecting students to complete tasks to practice the concepts. The deductive method is often criticized because: a) it teaches grammar in an isolated way b) little attention is paid to meaning c) practice is often mechanical.

Advantages
Time saving A lesson proceeds smoothly according to the sequences determined by a teacher and finished just as he or she plans. Habit formation

Disadvantages
Every learner has different learning styles. What is learned is rather controlled by the learner, not the teacher. Weak retention pupils are not engage to the meaning

Learner-centered
Learner-centered classroom is defined as one in which pupils with learning opportunities to think for themselves. Pupils can learn more effectively when they actively participate in the lesson by discovering the rules for themselves instead of being passively instructed by the teacher.

Inductive classroom the teacher presents students with many examples showing how the concept/grammatical item is used. The intent is for students to notice, by way of the examples, how the concept works. The teacher gives the students a means to discover the rule for themselves.

Advantages
Enhance the memory of learner. Cognitive ability of learning. The process helps the learner develop the skill to investigate and explore language autonomously.

Disadvantages
Pupils may need a teacher as a key driving force to understand grammar rules. The teacher does not deliver instruction to all students at once, some students may miss important facts.
