HOW MUSIC EFFECTED OUR LIFE I Introduction There are some benefits of listening to music that we can get

namely it reduce the level of stress and anxiety; it helps in maintaining our health; and it helps person in learning and management of work. II Body A One benefit of listening to music is it can reduce our stress and anxiety levels. 1 Music can maintain and balance our emotion. a Relaxing music can create a calm alertness and give us more enjoyable in anything we do b Music can reduce the stress response which also decrease anxiety, heart rate and change in plasma stress hormone level (Clark et al., 2006) B Another benefit is music can maintain and balance our health. 1 Music can improve the function of the bodys immune system. (Glynn, 2013). a Music can increase antibody in humans body and keep them healthy if they keep listening to music (Glynn, 2013) b It also can lowers the levels of cortisol (the stress hormone) which reduce the risk of high blood pressure (Glynn, 2013) 2 Music can be a medicine for our brain. a It triggers the release of mood-altering brain chemicals and once-lost memories and emotions (in Music as medicine, n.d.) b It helps in restoring the loss of expressive language in patients with aphasia (in Music as medicine, n.d.)

One other benefit of listening to music is it helps student and worker in management of their task. 1 Music can improve the concentration while study or doing task. a Listening to same music can make us remember things that has been past (in To listen or, n.d.) b If we listen to fast music, it will help us to do things or works faster than usual (in To listen or, n.d.) c Listening to music also makes the task seem less boring (in To listen or, n.d.)

Conclusion In a nutshell, decrease the stress and anxiety levels, maintain and keep person healthy and helps the students and workers in making their task seem to be the advantages of listening to music.
