Summary

This Use Case describes the process whereby a User uses the new service@work
application to change the rundate for a company’s transactions held in the Current
year or Year-end THF holdfile on the mainframe.

Primary flow

1. User enters Company Number, old payroll rundate and new payroll rundate.
2. System validates that the user has authority to access region for company
number.
3. System locates the transactions1 for the company number and changes their
rundate in database.
4. System sends a message to user advising that the Change Company Rundate
is accepted.

Alternate flows

1.Old Payroll Rundate or New Payroll Rundate are back-dated

a This alternate flow begins in step 1 of the Primary flow.
b System provides message to User regarding details of problem.
c User either Cancels request or continues with step 1 of Primary flow by
correcting Rundate(s).

2. User does not have authority to access region for company number
a This alternate flow begins in step 2 of the Primary flow.
