INT. FANLAIR - MORNING
The boys are asleep in their beds. Suddenly, their ALARM

CLOCKS spring to life!
1 FANBOY ALARM CLOCK (V.O.)

WHAT TIME IS IT?!!!
2 CHUM CHUM ALARM CLOCK (V.O.)

IT’S SEVEN O’CLOCK AND TODAY IS...
(different voice)
...Prank Day.
The alarm clocks start blaring <BOUNCY POP MUSIC!> The boys
both sit upright in bed, wide grins on their faces!
3 FANBOY / CHUM CHUM

PRANK DAY!!!
4 FANBOY
The most pranktacular, prank-
ilicious, pranktastic day of the
whole pranking year!
5 CHUM CHUM
Yeah! Happy Prank Day, Fanboy!
Chum Chum pulls a CORD dangling by his bed, which causes

Fanboy’s bed to flip up like a Murphy Bed and SMASH him
against the wall! When the bed flips down, Fanboy is
battered, but his glee and enthusiasm are undiminished.
6 FANBOY
<giggle> Good one, Chum Chum!
Happy Prank Day to you, too!
Fanboy pulls a CORD by his bed, causing Chum Chum’s bed to

flip up and SMASH him! The happy boys alternately pull the
cord and SMASH each other in time with the music!

<happy giggling!>
INT. BATHROOM
Chum Chum has a NEWSPAPER and heads toward the toilet. Sly
Fanboy peeks around the corner, then <FLIPS ON A VACUUM
CLEANER> which has a HOSE that leads to the toilet. As Chum
Chum stands with his back to the toilet, the suction sucks
him into the bowl, where he disappears from view... until his
hand rises from the bowl, flashing a THUMBS-UP.
INT. KITCHEN
Fanboy opens the REFRIGERATOR and a BEAR leaps out and

attacks him! The ensuing FIGHT CLOUD rolls past <GIGGLING>
Chum Chum who is next to an OPEN BEAR CAGE. Fanboy’s head
emerges from the cloud, and he and Chum Chum HIGH FIVE. *
INT. LIVING ROOM
Fanboy and Chum Chum sit on the sofa, eating cereal while
watching TV. Fanboy slyly takes out a REMOTE CONTROL and
pushes the button, causing Chum Chum’s half of the sofa to
lift off due to the ROCKET BOOSTERS on the bottom. The
flying sofa SMASHES Chum Chum into every wall before CRASHING
through the ceiling, leaving Chum Chum’s upper half dangling
upside down. Chum Chum lifts his hands in triumph! Smiling
Fanboy returns to his cereal... when the bear leaps out of
the bowl and attacks again, knocking him back off the couch.
Chum Chum falls from the ceiling and lands behind the couch
with a <THUD!> The dazed bear appears from behind the couch *
with Chum Chum on his head (Chum Chum’s fall knocked the bear
silly) and Fanboy half hanging out of the bear’s mouth.
8 CHUM CHUM
<sigh> Best. Prank Day. Ever.
9 FANBOY
But that was merely the appetizer,
Chumsteen. The real prank meal
awaits us... at school.
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY
We do a SLOW PAN across the hallway, catching sight of

everyone happily pulling pranks. First, MICHAEL JOHNSON
leaps out and de-pantses DUKE, showing his BUNNY BOXERS.
10 MICHAEL JOHNSON
Hee hee!
Then, we see LUPE stick a WHOOPIE CUSHION underneath CHRIS

CHUGGY just as he sits down.
11 WHOOPIE CUSHION (V.O.)

Wah wah.
12 CHRIS CHUGGY
Wah wah.
Then, we see a giddy MR. MUFFLIN put a CREAM PIE in JANITOR

POOPATINE’S face. Poopatine’s cart, BRENDA (wearing a FUNNY
NOSE AND GLASSES), returns the favor, using a ROBOT ARM to
put a pie in Mufflin’s face. Both men grin!
The PAN continues and rotates around 180 degrees and we see
pleased Fanboy and Chum watch the festivities. *
13 FANBOY
I love the smell of cream pies in
the face in the morning. Smells
like... victory.
Chum Chum is so excited about Prank Day that he’s vibrating.
14 CHUM CHUM
Who we gonna prank?! Huh?! Huh?!
Fanboy scans the scene ‘til he spies a victim. *
15 FANBOY
Hmmm... no... let’s see... perfect!
Let’s roll, Chum Chum.
ON KYLE, scowling as he watches the merriment around him.
16 KYLE
What a ridiculously immature
custom. Prank Day... feh!
As Kyle stews, Fanboy and Chum rise up over each shoulder.
17 FANBOY
Hello, Kyle.
18 KYLE
<startled shout!> What do you two
boobs want?
19 CHUM CHUM
<snicker>
20 FANBOY
We were just hoping you could help
us out by... pulling my finger.
Fanboy bends over and points his butt at Kyle while extending
his finger. Kyle smugly TURNS TO CAMERA and ROLLS HIS EYES.
21 KYLE
Hmm. Certainly. I’ll just do it
from over here.
Kyle moves around to Fanboy’s head and away from his butt.
He pulls Fanboy’s finger, and the top of Fanboy’s head POPS *
OPEN and sprays Kyle with NOXIOUS FUMES. Kyle goes pale...
then all his body parts separate and drop to the floor.

<hysterical laughter>
23 CHUM CHUM
Brain farts rule!!!
24 KYLE *
<pained moan> Smell... bad... *
Poopatine and Brenda zip in, clean up Kyle’s body with a

BROOM and DUST PAN, then zip O.S. again, just as YO ENTERS. *
25 YO
Hi, Fanboy!
She squeezes Chum Chum’s cheeks, making his lips protrude.
26 YO (CONT’D)
Hey there, my widdle Chummy Wummy!
27 CHUM CHUM
(thru squeezed cheeks)
Hey, Yo. Happy Prank Day!
28 YO
Prank Day? What’s Prank Day?
Mouths agape, the boys look at Yo in stunned amazement. They

each use one finger to push the other’s open jaw closed.
Fanboy puts his arm around Yo and speaks patronizingly.
29 FANBOY
Oh Yo, you poor sweet simple thing.
Allow the Fanman to educate you in
the ways of the world. See, Prank
Day is the day when people play
pranks on each other. Observe.
Fanboy gives Chum Chum a STICK OF CHEWING GUM.
30 FANBOY (CONT’D)
Gum gum, Chum Chum?
Chum Chum takes the gum and chews. He then smiles broadly. *
His teeth and mouth are covered in GOOPY, BLACK INK. *
31 CHUM CHUM
Prank Day is awesome! *
32 YO
Ohhhhh, I get it! Thanks, Fanboy!
33 FANBOY
No problem! Now if you’ll excuse
us... WHOA! <impact noise>
Fanboy turns to leave, but trips. Yo has TIED HIS SHOELACES

TOGETHER. Yo CLAPS.
34 YO
Yay! My first prank! Here,
Fanboy. Let me help you up.
35 FANBOY
Why thank... <pained yelp!>
She extends a hand to Fanboy, who takes it. <ZAP!!!> *

Fanboy’s SKELETON LIGHTS UP as Yo has palmed a JOY BUZZER.
36 YO
<giggle> You look like you could
use some water.
37 FANBOY
That would be... <pained yell!>
She offers a GLASS OF WATER... with a TOOTHY PIRANHA in it!

The fish leaps out and BITES Fanboy’s nose!
(nasal)
You are a quick learner, Yo.
39 YO
And I owe it all to you! Here. I
want you to have this present.
She gives him a HUGE PRESENT. Fanboy starts to unwrap it.
40 FANBOY
You shouldn’t have! I---AAAAHHHH!!
The bear leaps from the box and mauls Fanboy! As Yo exits...
41 YO
Thanks again, Fanboy!
42 FANBOY
(pained)
Don’t... mention it.
INT. SCHOOL HALLWAY - LATER
SOMEONE’S POV: ON YO putting stuff in her locker.

ON THE BOYS: Fanboy has Chum Chum by his ankles and holds him
up like he’s using him for binoculars. Meanwhile, Chum Chum
has his hands around his own eyes as if looking through
binoculars. Fanboy puts Chum Chum down.
43 FANBOY
(hushed to Chum Chum)
There she is. Ya got the itching
powder?
Chum Chum holds up a CAN OF ITCHING POWDER and NODS. The

boys serpentine across the hallway, occasionally pausing
behind lockers, trash cans, Lupe, etc... They silently creep
up on unsuspecting Yo. At the last moment, ROBOTIC ARMS
shoot out of Yo’s backpack! One pulls Chum Chum up O.S. and *
the other holds up Fanboy by his undies, giving him a wedgie!
44 YO
Ha! A mega-wedgie! Pretty good
prank, eh Fanboy?
45 FANBOY
(falsetto)
Not bad.
46 YO
I loooooove Prank Day and it’s all
because of you! Oh, check out the
stickers I made! In Yo face!!! *
She slaps a “YO” STICKER on his forehead. *
47 FANBOY
Very creative.
48 YO
Oh, and sorry about your itchy *
butt.
49 FANBOY
Whaddya mean? I... oh... ITCHING
POWDER! <itching noises>
WIDEN. The other robot arm shakes Chum Chum like a salt
shaker. The itching powder dumps in Fanboy’s underwear who
starts squirming as his backside starts itching.
INT. SCHOOL - VARIOUS
We now go into a QUICK-CUTTING MUSICAL MONTAGE, with brief

images of Yo dominating Fanboy prank-wise. **Each prank is
punctuated by Yo slapping one of her "Yo" stickers ON TO THE *
SCREEN and saying... *
50 YO *
In Yo face!!! *
Fanboy slips on a BANANA PEEL that Yo tosses. Yo squeezes *

the WHOOPEE CUSHION Fanboy is blowing up, INFLATING HIM so he
FLOATS OFF. Yo pops out of a trash can and gets Fanboy with
a CREAM PIE. Fanboy sneaks behind Yo with a WATER BALLOON
and a TRAP DOOR opens beneath him, etc...
Eventually, as the cuts grow quicker, we just see prank items

(CHATTERING TEETH, FAKE POOP, RUBBER SPIDERS, “KICK ME”
SIGNS) floating across frame as Fanboy’s smile turns to a
frown. And joyful Yo keeps slapping stickers on-screen until
the ENTIRE SCREEN is covered by “Yo” stickers! *
INT. UNKNOWN DARK PLACE
A RAY OF LIGHT is the only illumination as we can barely make

out a quivering figure in the foreground.
51 VOICE (V.O.)
<shaken whimpering>
A DOOR opens showing that we are inside of a school LOCKER.

Chum Chum (who opened the door) peers inside.
52 CHUM CHUM
<GASP!>
REVERSE ANGLE: Fanboy is huddled in the locker, quivering and

COVERED IN YO STICKERS! *
53 FANBOY
(gibbering like a mad man) *
In Yo face... in Yo face... *
54 CHUM CHUM
<sigh> C’mon, buddy. You’ve had a
rough day. Let’s go get you a
Frosty Freezy Freeze.
INT. FROSTY MART - LATER
The boys each bring a FROSTY FREEZY FREEZE up to the counter. *
55 FANBOY
There’s gotta be a way to out-prank
Yo, Chumarooski. We just haven’t
figured it out yet.
They find LENNY asleep at the register. Behind Lenny, BOOG’S

head rises up. He puts his fingers across his lips, then
descends below the counter out of view. The boys look at
each other in confusion, then shrug.
Uh, Lenny?
57 LENNY
<snorts awake> Huh? Wha... aw
man. I was dreaming I was napping.
58 FANBOY
Oh... sorry. Two Frosty Freezy
Freezes, please.
Fanboy holds a BILL out for Lenny, who takes it.
59 LENNY
Whatever. Here’s your... change?
Lenny hits a button on the register. The tray opens with a

<BELL>! The bell awakens PRECIOUS THE PIG who is asleep in
front of the counter. Precious takes off running and we see
a ROPE tied to his tail. The boys and Lenny all look up to
see that the rope goes through a series of PULLEYS around the
store. As they all watch the rope go taut, it finally yanks
Lenny up as his ankle is snared by the other end!
60 LENNY (CONT’D)
BOOOOOOG!!!
Lenny is painfully pulled through each pulley before being

yanked out the door by Precious. As he exits, Lenny grabs
the door and hangs on tenuously...
61 LENNY (CONT’D)
I’ll get you for THIIIIISSS!
Lenny is pulled out the door. BEAT. Miraculously, Lenny

lunges back into frame and hangs on to the door again.
62 LENNY (CONT’D)
And don’t forget to restock the
EGGGGGGGSSSSS!
Triumphant Boog leaps out from behind the counter and points
at Lenny just as he is yanked out the door AGAIN!
63 BOOG
The Prank Master strikes again! *
Boog runs around like he just scored a goal in soccer!
64 BOOG (CONT’D)
Nailed it! Original prankster #1!
Who da man?! Who da man?! I da
man! With a capital D-A “da”!
65 FANBOY
Whoa! Boog... how’d you...?
66 BOOG
When it comes to pranking, I wrote
the book!
(then)
Really. I did.
He hands a BOOK to Fanboy, who reads the cover.
67 FANBOY
“Taking Time to Smell the Fake
Doodie: Boog’s Best Pranks A to Z”.
Fanboy turns the book over to see the AUTHOR’S PHOTO. It is

of Boog, wearing a SMOKING JACKET, sitting in front of a
FIREPLACE and eating a BURRITO out of a FANCY GOBLET.
68 CHUM CHUM
Ooh, that’s a good color on you.
69 BOOG
Yeah. I’m totally a winter.
Fanboy’s EYES GO WIDE as he has an idea!
70 FANBOY
Boog’s the Prank Master. He can
help us! HE CAN HELP US!!!
With that, Fanboy leaps up and embraces Boog’s face!
71 BOOG
Never touch the face.
He peels Fanboy off his face and holds him up in the air.
72 FANBOY
Please, Boog. We’re desperate. We
need your help to prank someone!
73 BOOG
Who?
<DING!> They turn to see Yo has entered the Frosty Mart.

Fanboy antics and plasters himself to Boog’s face again.
74 FANBOY
<GASP!> Her!
Boog’s eyeball pushes out from between Fanboy’s arms to see.

75 BOOG
Her? The little girl?
Fanboy moves around and perches on Boog’s head, cradling it

like a precious item. He whispers into Boog’s ear...
76 FANBOY
She’s a viper.
Yo ENTERS FRAME, sweet as can be.
77 YO
Oh, goody! It’s my brothers-in-
prank, Fanboy and Chum Chum!
She scratches Chum Chum on the side causing Chum Chum’s leg
to start moving like a happy dog’s.
78 YO (CONT’D)
Doesn’t Prank Day make you think
warm, fuzzy thoughts like puppies
and rainbows and Chum Chum?
<dreamy sigh> Me too!
Yo happily EXITS FRAME and heads to the magazine rack.
79 FANBOY
See what I mean? Vicious!
80 BOOG
I ain’t even gonna waste my time
with her. Now get outta my face
and go bother someone less awesome.
Fanboy looks disappointed, then gets an idea.
81 FANBOY
(overly understanding)
Sure Boog. We get it. C’mon, Chum
Chum. Boog’s scared he doesn’t
have a prank for us that’s good *
enough to fool Yo. Then he won’t
be Prank Master. *
82 BOOG
(dismissive) *
Pffft. Like I’m gonna fall for
that. What, now I’m supposta say *
“I’ll show you. I’ll help you *
prank Yo.”? Heh... *
(then, with steely *
determination) *
(MORE)
BOOG (CONT'D)
Well, that’s exactly what I’m gonna *
do. When you’re done with her, she *
won’t know what pranked her. *
The boys grin as Boog starts flipping through the book.
83 BOOG (CONT’D)
Aha! Prank #3149 with the optional
Grunfeld reverse. It’s foolproof!
Learn it, live it... learn it.
He holds up the book and the boys float in mid-air, their

eyes right up against the page. They float across each line
and down as we hear <TYPEWRITER SOUNDS> and <DING!>, until... *
84 FANBOY AND CHUM CHUM

Got it!!!
85 BOOG
Good! Now get out there and go *
prank one for the Booger!
The boys SALUTE him then march O.S. to battle. Instantly we

hear a bunch of painful sounding <SOUND EFFECTS> as Boog
watches, winces, and cringes at the O.S. action.
86 BOOG (CONT’D)
Yeesh. Talk about getting egg on *
your face. *
The defeated boys walk back in with EGGSHELLS on their heads

and EGG YOLK running down their faces.
87 YO (O.S.)
You’re out of eggs!
Suddenly, Lenny is pulled through frame by Precious.
88 LENNY
Told ya!
As cheerful Yo walks through frame...
89 YO
Wasn’t that just the funnest?!
<giggle> Oops, almost forgot! In *
Yo face! In Yo face! *
Yo slaps STICKERS on both of the boys, then her legs ELONGATE *

and she SLAPS ONE ON BOOG’S FOREHEAD.
90 YO (CONT’D) *
(cheery) *
And since it was your idea, in Yo *
face, too! Yayyyy! *
She <CLAPS>, then skips happily O.S. *
91 CHUM CHUM
<sigh> I guess Yo is the Prank
Master, huh Boog? Boog?
The boys see Boog turning red with rage! STEAM shoots out of
his ears and THE STICKER IS INCINERATED, TURNING TO ASH.
92 BOOG
Gentlemen, that alleged little girl
has drawn first blood. So what are
you prepared to do about it?!

Move to Swaziland? / Ring the
doorbell and run?
94 BOOG
No! We’re gonna prank back and
prank back hard! Just look at her,
smugly gloating on her victory.
They all turn to see Yo checking out the HANGING CAR AIR
FRESHENER carousel. She <SMELLS> one. Ick. <SMELLS>
another. Double ick. <SMELLS> a third one. Yummy! Yo rubs
the freshener on her armpits.
95 BOOG (CONT’D)
Have you ever seen such a brazen
display of arrogance?! *
96 FANBOY
Once. At an antique fair. *
<shudder>
97 BOOG
It’s on, junior pranksters. We’re
in this together.
98 FANBOY
(reverentially) *
Mold our eager minds into a fine
paste, oh wise one.
99 BOOG
The key to a good prank is knowing
your victim’s weakness. What do
you know about that killer cyborg
from the future?
Fanboy thinks hard on this.

100 FANBOY
Hmmm, Yo... Well, she likes playing
with gadgets, her best friend is a
pine cone named Ingrid, and... she
would believe anything if she
thought she could get her hands on
Chum Chum!
101 CHUM CHUM

Oh well. Nothing useful there.
Both Boog and Fanboy turn and smile broadly at Chum Chum.
Chum Chum feels around his nose self-consciously.
102 CHUM CHUM (CONT’D)

What? Do I have a dangler?
ON YO - at the SUNGLASSES CAROUSEL, trying out different

SUNGLASSES on a PINE CONE.
103 YO
No. Those make you look stuck up.
104 CHUM CHUM (O.S.)

No no no no no!
YO’S POV of Chum Chum, Fanboy, and Boog:

I won’t do it. You guys can prank
Yo without me.
106 FANBOY
But Chumalito, you heard what Boog
said. We’re all in this together!
Chum Chum crosses his arms and shakes his head “no”.
107 BOOG
What’s wrong with this kid? He’s
making me look bad!
108 FANBOY
I dunno, Boog. Sometimes I wish Yo
would just take him. Let’s go.
They EXIT FRAME leaving upset Chum Chum alone. Yo ZIPS in.
109 YO
(cautious)
What... was that all about?
110 CHUM CHUM

They wanted to use me as bait so
they could prank you. Me, bait! *
111 YO
<gasp> Those monsters, trying to
make you look silly like that. Now
you come home with me, and we’ll *
get you into a nice warm sundress.
112 CHUM CHUM

<sigh> Okay.
Giddy Yo leads Chum Chum toward the front door by the hand.

Yo?
114 YO
Yes, my perfect tiny snuggle face!
115 CHUM CHUM

Would you take a step to your left?
116 YO
Sure, Chum Chum. How come?
Yo takes a step to the left. WIDEN. We see she is standing

in the middle of a BIG RED “X” on the floor.
117 CHUM CHUM

No reason.
(then)
NOW!
Suddenly, Fanboy and Boog each swing down on ropes from

opposite ends of the store. They each hold HUGE CREAM PIES.
118 FANBOY AND BOOG

<war cry!>
They swing down towards Yo, who at the last minute, steps off
the “X”. All the boys’ faces register dismay, when...
WHAM!!! They collide with Chum Chum. The screen goes WHITE
from the flying cream pie! When the dust settles...
Battered Fanboy, Chum Chum and Boog lie helpless in a heap,

covered in pie. They look thoroughly defeated. *
119 BOOG
My whole pranking career down in *
flames! I ain’t never been so *
humiliated! *
120 YO
You silly billies didn’t really
think I was gonna fall for your
play-acting, did you?
121 FANBOY
(defeated) *
<sigh> That was kinda the idea. *
122 YO
<giggle> You’d never turn your back
on Chum Chum like that, Fanboy!
Fanboy and Chum Chum grin at one another... until Yo plucks

Chum Chum from out of the mess.
123 YO (CONT’D)
But since you did say you wanted me
to take him, don’t mind if I do!
She puts a SAILOR HAT on Chum Chum and starts tossing him in *
the air like a baby.
124 YO (CONT’D)
Some little cutepea’s hair is gonna
get good and braided! Oh, Chum...
<BOOM!> Just as Chum Chum’s rear falls past Yo’s face, his *
underpants EXPLODE, covering her surprised face in SOOT.
Shocked Fanboy and Boog leap to their feet!
125 FANBOY
Chum Chum, you did it! You pranked
Yo!
(then, cocky to Yo)
Ya see, Yo, that’s what happens
when you go up against real Prank
Masters!
Boog does a ridiculous victory dance then gets in Yo’s face!
126 BOOG *
In YO face, baby! How you like us *
now, huh?! How you like us now?! *
127 YO *
(sad)
You... pranked me. You really
pranked me.
(then, elated)
Sweeeet! Great prank, guys! I can
hardly wait till next year! Byeee!
With that, she EXITS. Boog deflates.

That girl is ice cold. She even *
takes the fun out of gloating.
Fanboy embraces Chum Chum.
129 FANBOY
You even fooled me, Chum Chum! I
had no idea you’re wearing the
exploding underpants I got you last
Prank Day!
130 CHUM CHUM

Eh... I’m not.

(happy) *
