Edward and I was sitting on the sofa watching a movie when Nessie
and Jake came into the livingroom. They both had a big smile upon
their faces. Bella, Edward. Jacob and I have something to tell you.

I suddenly felt Edward squeezing my hand hard, and he looked like

he wanted to murder someone. He already knew what they were
going to say.

I looked upon my beautiful daughters face, and saw the joy in her
eyes. What could she possibly say that made Edward react like this.

We are getting married...........

So that was it. At first I didn't know what to say. I sat there for a
couple of seconds. For the first time in many years I didn't know what
to say to my daughter or my best friend. I looked at Edward. He had
now pulled him self back together, and said: Jacob. May I talk with
you outside for a moment please?"

Renesmee suddenly looked worried. Edward, she said, If you want to

say something, you'll have to say it to us both. Edward mearly
glanced at her, and then looked at Jacob. He nodded, and the two
guys walked outside.

Bella, what is going on? I thought you would be happy for us. You
knew that this would happen all along, so it should not come as a
surprise to you.

My beatiful Renesmee, I said. I know that you love Jacob, and that he
loves you. But we thought that you would wait a few more years
before you got married. It's not like you dont have the time.

Suddenly I froze. I had to think for a moment. She couldn't be, could
she? Pregnant? Is that why they had to get married so fast?
She must have seen the shock on my face, and understood what I
was thinking. Bella, no.... I'm not pregnant. Jake and I have'nt even....
She broke of. I could understand that this was difficult for her to say.
Her cheeks reddened, and she looked down.

Sweetheart, I'm sorry. I just couldn't understand the reason for you to
be so hasty.
But Bella, we're in love. You of all people should understand. It was
the same for you and Edward.
We had told her the story of our engagement and marriage, but not
the whole reason. Not that I wanted to have one last human
experience before I became a Vampire. Not that I wanted to make
love to her father before I was changed.

We simply told her that we were in love, and that we wanted to get
married so that we could be together for ever.

And at that moment I understood her. I knew what she was feeling,
and why she wanted to do this. I also knew that I would support her in
every way that I could.

I would talk to Edward about this, and make him understand. He'd
have to, for Nessie's sake.

She watched me as I was thinking all of this, and her face became
calmer. She knew that I was on her side now.

Renesmee I said, Congratulations. I'm so happy for you. Of course I'll

stand by your side, and help you plan your wedding. We'll have so
much fun. We'll also have to tell the rest of the family. Alice will have a
ball with this. You should have seen her before my wedding. She is a
great wedding planner, so we will definetly have to ask her to help us.

Actually I was a bit amused, because Alice had no idea what was
going on. She couldn't see werewolves, and not Renesmee either. So
she had no idea about this.

I was pleased. For the first time I knew something that she could not
see. Something big. A wedding.
I laughed. Renesmee looked at me, a little puzzled. Why are you
laughing Bella?
I told her, and she bursted out in laughter to.

As we were sitting there laughing, Edward and Jacob came in. They
both looked very serious. Renesmee and I both stiffened. What had
happened outside? Why did they both look so angry?
