PE2 BSD (BASIC SOCIAL DANCE) Course Description: This course will give the students the knowledge and understanding on the background and techniques in basic social dance, as well as the physical and mental benefits of basic social dancing. Course Objectives: At the end of the semester, the students should be able to: 1. Learn and execute the basic skills and techniques in basic social dance. 2. Develop their talent and creativity using different steps, techniques and combinations of basic social dance. 3. Understand and learn the different benefits of physical activity while enjoying basic social dancing. 4. Dance with musical accompaniment with ease and confidence.
