Check for understanding as students complete each step. Slowly release students to do more work on their own. Select random non volunteers to share out. Provide sentence frame to scaffold student conversations. Students work on the task collaboratively In a group or with a partner. Circulate and listen in to conversations to check for understanding. -Each student is held accountable to produce a product as a result of the interaction. Provide assignment and check for understanding in short intervals.
