All Columbian TecTanks utilize smoothwall tank construction. Unlike light gauge corrugated panels, smoothwall construction is heavier, minimizes product hang-up and is designed for continuous process requirements. Columbian TecTank silos only utilize baked-on coating formulations, Interior coatings are designed to protect the product and promote flow. Exterior coatings are designed for the exposed environment. CTT exclusive coating systems are recognized as #1 in the industry. MASS flow or FUNNEL flow designs are both available. Would first in/first-out product discharge benefit your process? Would you like to minimize product segregation and degradation? CTT has the answer to your questions. CTTs testing services can determine the properties of nonstandard materials. The test results can be incorporated into the silo design to ensure proper product flow and prevent stagnation and contamination. Feed and seed tanks are available utilizing leg supports, lug supports, short skirt support (for placement on structural steel), full skirt support and open skirt support. Tank designs for placement on load cells are also typical requests.
