• Columbian Steel tank company was founded in 1893.
• As originators of sectional steel tanks for petroleum
storage in 1916, the forerunner of the API 12B tank.
• By 1921, Columbian has sold 20,000 of these tanks

typically be remedied from exterior without draining
down the tank or taking it out of service.
• Hydrostatic test water be left in the tank 3 – 4 weeks.
For testing purposes.

direct product service.
