About YFID
YouthCan For International Dialogue (YFID) is a federally incorporated nonprofit organization, recognized by the International Diplomatic Engagement Association (IDEA) as the official Canadian Organizing Committee for the annual Y8 and Y20 Summits. The mission of our organization is to encourage todays youth to engage in meaningful dialogue about international policy and diplomacy. Membership Conditions There exists only one class of members. Membership is open to all individuals interested in furthering the Corporations purposes, and who have applied for and been accepted into membership by resolution of the Executive of YouthCan For International Dialogue. Each member shall be entitled to receive notice of, as well as attend, and vote at all meetings of the members of the corporation. New membership applications shall be admitted on a rolling basis throughout each calendar year and shall be approved at regularly scheduled meetings of the YFID executive. General membership applications shall not be restricted by age. Submitting your Application 1. 2. Save your application documents using the following format: Firstname_Lastname_GMApp E-mail your application package to g8g20youthsummitcanada@gmail.com, with the subject title the same as the title of your document (e.g: John_Smith_GMApp) PLEASE NOTE: Applications must be received by 11pm (EST) on Sunday, September 15th 2013. Only completed applications will be considered.
