Reading Response Journal:

Day One: Summarize your reading from tonight using only what happened in the text. Day Two: Make an inference about a character or event from your reading tonight, using evidence from the story. (I can infer that ________ because the text says __________). Day Three: Write down a line of dialogue from your reading tonight that you feel is important to the story. What does that line tell about the character who said it? Day Four: Write down one word or phrase from your reading tonight that you are not sure about. Use a resource, such as a dictionary, computer, iPad, etc., to determine the actual definition of the word.
