Once again, this is your childs Thursday Folder. It will come home each week filled with important papers. It will come home every Thursday and needs to be returned every Friday.

What did we learn this week?

Reading: We began our reading series and we looked at each letter of the alphabet and began learning sight words. We also practiced our handwriting. Math: We practiced counting and writing our numbers 1-4. We explored some of our math manipulatives that we will one day use during Math Workshop Centers. Discovery: We learned All About Families. Next week: We will continue to work on our letters and sight words. In Discovery, we are going to be learning about all different kinds of pets! (Projects will be sent home to complete research, so be on the lookout in your childs backpack!) :)

Homework Journals:
In your childs backpack, there is a Homework Journal. Complete the calendar attached and return calendar and journal to school by the end of each month. (Directions are attached inside journal) If ever you have a concern or question please do not hesitate to email or call.

Each child holds a special place in my heart and I am Fall Festival-Duck Samford Stadium, Tuesday, loving every minute of watching them grow and learn September 17th 5:00-8:00 ( Tickets will be sold new things! in Carpool Line September 11-13 Fall picture day, Thursday, September 19th Rocket Run pep rally Friday, September 27th 1:30ish

Also, as of Tuesday, September 3, visitors are allowed to attend lunch. Thank you for your understanding throughout the previous two weeks.
