List 8 sentences summarizing the story. The WHOLE story. You do: Use movie or story from Sunrise Activity to create a plot line for that movie/story Closure: Write HW in Agenda (Look up/write spelling/vocab 2 part of speech and definition and write a sentence using each vocab word) Wednesday: I do: Escort to library-Students need to choose independent book (100-150 pgs), Model choosing major plot events and creating moveable plot event pieces (writing plot events on small pieces of paper) We do: With a shoulder partner, practice manipulating the traditional plot line to create a non-traditional plot line. Determine and explain how the change that created the nontraditional plot line would change the story itself (Ex: What effect would the change have on the story?) You do: Choose one of the changes that would create a non-traditional plot line and draw out the new line (think about what it would look like-can manipulate the shape) Closure: Exit Slip: Briefly describe 2 elements of plot and 2 changes could make to the plot line.
