In the first one they will demonstrate their application of the elements of voice: pitch, rate, projection, diction and expression. In the second performance, they will build on that foundation but also creatively experiment with using their voice to create characters. Students will document their learning in their process journals. This will include video documentation of performances, responses to other performances, inquiry into masters in various art forms, reflection and self critique.
