September 18, 2013 Dear Parent: Welcome to Rockland High Schools Back-To-School Night. Here is a list of expectations for this class. I hope you find this information helpful and will use it throughout this academic year. Period 1 Class: Period 1 class begins at 8:00 a.m. A student is officially tardy to school if they are not in period 1 when the 8:00 bell rings. Students are expected to come on time, with their books and materials, ready to participate in the days class activities. It is important to come to class prepared. Students will not be allowed to go back to their locker to get forgotten materials during class time. Period 2 - 7 classes begin when the bell rings at the conclusion of a 4 minute passing time. Once the late bell rings, teachers are only to permit students to enter, without penalty, if they have a pass.
