Celebrate Australian Citizenship Day in the Top End

Territorians will celebrate Australian Citizenship Day tomorrow with more than 150 people becoming Aussie citizens in Darwin and Alice Springs. The Darwin ceremony will be conducted at Government House where 60 people will be conferred as Australians, while in Alice Springs the city council will conduct a ceremony for 95 people. More than 12 400 people from 145 countries are expected to become Australian citizens across Australia at more than 230 ceremonies as part of Australian Citizenship Day 2013 celebrations.
