    Ga-Dangme languages are a branch of the Kwa language family spoken in Ghana and Togo. The Ga-Dangme branch consists of two closely related languages, Ga and Adangme, which are sometimes considered a single language due to their many similar basic vocabulary words. While similar, Ga and Adangme also have differences in some words and grammar, particularly in their verb phrases, with Adangme generally retaining traits of their ancestral Proto-Ga-Dangme language more than Ga.

    GaDangme is a branch of the Kwa language family. GaDangme is made up of just two languages: Ga and
    Adangme. They are closely related and have sometimes been considered as a single language. There are many
    similarities in the basic vocabulary. There are also many words which are different, and grammatical differences,
    particularly in the verb phrase. Where they differ, Adangme is usually closer to the original Proto-GaDangme than
    Ga.
