QUNUT NAZILAH

Qunut Nazilah is an invocation read with the intention of seeking Allahs protection
from a particular disaster or tragedy.

WAYS TO RECITE QUNUT NAZILAH

The Qunut can be read during every solat fardh or sunnah. It is to be read in the last
rakaah after rising from the last ruku for Itidal, which is after we recite the following:
_ ` ` ` - ` ` - : , ` , _ . .
There are three ways to read the doa. The Imam may choose one of the following:

1. To read the usual Qunut as the way the Qunut is read during the Subuh prayer.

2. To read the Qunut Nazilah as stated in the attachment.

3. To read the usual Qunut for Subuh prayer followed by the Qunut Nazilah.

Note:
If the Imam does not memorise the Qunut Nazilah, he may read the usual
Qunut as read for Subuh. The Qunut Nazilah can then be read after the
prayer.

The Imam should inform the congregation (jemaah) before the Friday prayers
begin that a Qunut will be read during the prayer.
