To Whom It May Concern, I write this letter to recommend Jeremy Caverley to you. I have known Jeremy Caverley for over five years as one of my communication studies students, as student worker and an intern here at Ohio University. He is a young man of integrity, intelligence, and positive ethical values. As an undergraduate student, Jeremy Caverley displayed leadership capacities beyond those of his peers. He attended to course work faithfully, submitted his work in a timely fashion, and worked to create relationships with other students in the program. I found him to be a powerful influence in class. As a worker and then as an intern, Jeremy Caverley listened to instructions, focused on and completed his tasks, and accepted criticism with patient fortitude. He learned from any suggestions or mistakes. He clearly displays a well-balanced work ethic. Jeremy Caverley is a problem solver not a problem maker. He has great field research and data collecting skills. I know Jeremy Caverley is a good citizen in the community. He understands the concepts of cooperation and contribution. He works well with others. He volunteers in various community programs. I recommend Jeremy Caverley to you without reservation. If you need additional information or wish to ask any questions, feel free to contact me. Sincerely,

David M. Lucas, Ph.D. Associate Professor Associate Professor, Communication Studies Ohio University E-mail: lucasd@ohio.edu
