Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

I am requesting funding for M.A.L.E. Reentry Program in fiscal year 2010. The entity to
receive funding for this project is Men Aspiring Leaders through Education, Inc. located
at 823 Heatherton Hill, Houston, TX 77047. The funding would be used to compliment
the Second Chance Act by mentoring and providing opportunities for ex-offenders to get
help to stem the tide of re-incarceration by making it easier for them to reintegrate into
society. I certify that I do not have a financial interest in this project.
