I am requesting funding for the Riclunond Youth Academy in fiscal year 20 I O.

The entity to receive funding for this project is the Richmond Black Professional Firefighters
Association, located at 3506 Cutting Blvd, Richmond, CA. 94804.

The funding will allow the Academy to assist more at-risk youth in West Contra Costa County in
identifying and obtaining goals and life skills, by providing mentoring, growth and educational
programs. The Youth Academy is successfully reducing juvenile delinquency and vio lence.
