Data Team Meetings #2

RED 403: Data Decisions As your team reviews student work, please complete the Class and Individual Student Focus questions below. Grade: Kindergarten Date: 9/18/13 Data Team Members: Kindergarten Team and myself

During Data Teams: Goal Setting Conferences The following will need to be assessed before the October conferences: Upper-case and Lower-case letter recognition, letter sounds, rhyming (identifying and producing), write names, shapes, counting, number recognition, socializing skills, listening, and responsibility. These will all need to be assessed and we all decided to use the same sheets for assessment and goals for students and teachers. Assessments Did we assess the students yet: Yes we have already done the first round of assessments We the looked at the FAST Data and who is MRC (reading corp.) This is based on fluency and then we had to sign those students up a time to be pulled out of class to working with reading corp. Lesson Planning We looked at our over all curriculum guide for what we need to cover the next two weeks and shared where we were and if anyone needs supplies. Goals for Next Week Students will need to write 1 to 10, write their name, practice rhyming and introduce syllables. Goals for in two weeks Work on trying to level the students with the IRLA Data Meeting with only my cooperating teacher My cooperating teacher and I had already completed our assessments of the students. We then wrote down those who needed practice on writing their name and writing numbers 1-10. We would try to pull them aside during choice to have them practice. Also when we have a para in the room they will be able to see the list and pull students to work on these skills.
