THE BIG PICTURE Infants are totally dependent on the care and support of their carers. They cannot provide any of their own basic needs like; Food Hygiene/Bathing/cleansing Clothing Warmth/Shelter Entertainment Learning It is the responsibility of the parent to ensure that they do everything possible to ensure their child grows up health, happy and successful. If they fail, the consequences can lead to unsettled adult. There are arguments that parents cannot do everything though and some factors in a child's development are based on their lifestyle, environment and genetic health QUESTION 1

1. In pairs, collect magazine images, catalogue pictures or images from the internet of different children's, toys games and activities 2. Divide the images into motor and fine motor skills. 3.
