Serenity In time

Building self-esteems one at a time

Multiple studies have found that overweight and obese children in elementary school feel the effects of discrimatory behavior by their peers (Lee, Deborah, CarsonDewitt, Rosalyn, Points of view: obesity,2013. Pg. 2.)Being picked on and teased is not good for your mental health. People are putting themselves down because theyve been called, fat and ugly. They frown at the scale, every time they weigh themselves. This organization is here to help by providing counseling and clubs to help boost self-esteems in teens, adults, and elders.
