Request for proposal for building a highway from Delhi to Dehradun.

Scope of work: Building a 4 lane highway connecting two major cities, New Delhi and
Dehradun covering 255 kms.

Company description: The ISO certified company holds a respectable reputation in


building and construction backed by an experience of 50 years in the field. Currently the
the company is stakeholder in the following projects.

• 4th Street Bridge Project - Pueblo


• Highway 9 - Frisco to Breckenridge
• I-25 and US 85 Lincoln Avenue to Castle Rock
• COSMIX Project (I-25 Colorado Springs) (Construction Completed)
• I-25 Reconstruction Project in Trinidad
• I-70 and SH 58 Interchange Reconstruction
• SH 82 Maroon Creek Bridge Replacement

Project summary: The project proposes to construct a 4 lane highway to cut down
travel time and traffic congestion. The highway would facilitate better connectivity
between the state capital and national capital. The project would commence immediately
after all the legal and government proceedings are over and will take around 2 years in
completion. The budget proposed for the project is Rs 50000 cr.

Schedule of events (are subjected to change due to governmental conflicts):

1. Release date of RFP would be 20th march 2008 and would close on 15th April
2008.
2. Supplier’s Meeting would be help on 1st April 2008
3. Final date for queries 10th April 2008
4. Closing date of RFP 15th April 2008
5. RFP evaluation to be held on 30th April
6. Offer of contract on 5th May 2008.

Milestone achieved by the company:

1. Four Laning of Mathura - Agra Section of NH2 from Km.148.330 to


Km.177.00 (29 Km) funded by OECF at a cost of Rs. 900 million (Present Price).
2. Four Lanning of Indore Bypass and Indore-Dewas Section of NH-3, Funded by
World Bank at a cost of Rs. 2970.00 million. (Present Price)
3. Noida Bridge Project - worth Rs. 1400 million (Present Price) in associaion with
M/s Mitsui Construction Company Ltd., a Japanese Construction Company.
4. Up-gradation of State Highway from Hungund to Belgaum in Bagalhot and
Belgaum districts (Contract No.: U-8) in the state of Karnataka at a cost of
Rs.1600.00 million funded by World Bank.
5. Ankola - Hubli Road(75Kms), Funded by Asian Development Bank
